The Kingdom: God's Systems

How To Survive The Wilderness

When Israel came out of bondage (Egypt), before going into Canaan (the Promised Land), they had to go through the wilderness.  The wilderness was a tough place to be.  It was that “in between season”, a time of testing and even preparation, where things would be stripped away and God would refine His people.  But from this place, if they could survive it, they would also set course to the Promise Land to receive their promised blessing.  In this sermon, Dr. Rogers teaches biblical principles of surviving the wilderness so that you do not return to bondage ever again. 

Stamina

Christians who quit, drop out of or fail to stay in the Christian race do so because they lack spiritual stamina, that is, they lack the ability to remain steadfast under pressure, under testing and under trail.  In this sermon, Lady Rogers sounds the alarm on Satan’s desire to pull Believers out of the faith, and more importantly, the necessity of Believers to continue therein. 

It's Going To Rain: Walking in Faith During a Time of Drought

The prophet Elijah heard the sound of an abundance of rain, in a place and at a time where there had not been one drop of water from the sky or dew on the ground, in 3 1/2 years. What he heard was actually his faith in God, proclaiming that which he could neither see nor hear.  Although there was no evidence of rain, Elijah knew that it was on the way. There is just something powerful about knowing that "it's on the way".  In this sermon on faith, from the "supernatural series", Dr. Rogers encourages the Believer in such a way that puts a fight back in your spirit, giving you the strength to hold on and believe God.

Sexual Sins

The church at Corinth had a big problem with sexual lasciviousness.  They assumed that since they were saved, it was alright to sin and live any type of way.  So they lived it up, sexually that is, unconcerned about the consequences of their behavior or the impact it would have on their relationship with Christ. In this sermon, Dr. Rogers explores this serious problem that was in the Corinthian church and sounds the alarm on the danger of having an amoral attitude towards ungodly sexuality.
